Senior Financial Controller

Radley Green is partnering with a professional services firm that is looking to double their revenue in the next 5 years and as such are a looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join their growing finance team.

This is a newly created role and will report into the CFO / COO and will own all things finance for this growing firm and real opportunity to become the number 1 in finance in a short period of time.

The role will pay £95k - £110k + great benefits + 20% bonus + profit share and prides itself on offering a great work life balance (2 days a week in the office).

This position will manage a team of 11, will take ownership of all reporting, accounting, budgeting and forecasting and the development of all financial systems.

Our client requires someone who has worked in a professional services environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead, manage and motivate a large team including Finance Manager, FP&A and FinOps
• Drive systems and process development and change
• Coordinate annual accounts and act as lead contact for external audits.
• Support preparation and submission of tax, VAT, PSA, and partner tax returns in collaboration with advisors.
• Oversight of budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for firm
• Drive efficiency through process improvement and alignment with business strategy.

Our client has confirmed they need someone who:

• Is a Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Has managed, motivated and developed large teams - 10+
• Familiar professional services / consulting firm environment
• Can work in a change environment and is comfortable driving change
• Can work with IT on developing a Finance systems roadmap and manage large systems change projects
• Has the experience and gravitas to manage senior stakeholder relationships
