A family-run, client-centric wealth planning firm is seeking a senior financial planner to join the business in a senior capacity. This is not a traditional employed role. Instead, it’s a true opportunity to build capital value, write business into your own book, and shape the future of a profitable boutique advisory business.
You will be supported with warm client transfers (£10m-£15m+ in assets), a consistent stream of qualified new enquiries, and access to full paraplanning/admin support—allowing you to focus purely on client relationship management and business growth.
The firm is independent, well-established, and run by experienced Chartered Planners and ex-DFM professionals. There is no product push, no vertical integration, and no restrictive covenants.

? Flexible structure - join as an AR or RI (your choice); or operate through your own Ltd firm
What We’re Looking ForThis role will suit an experienced, advice-led financial planner looking to take the next step in ownership, income, and long-term wealth creation.
Essential:
Min. 5+ years as a regulated financial planner
Existing client bank of £10m+ FUM or portable recurring income
Comfortable advising in pensions, investments, IHT/estate planning
Level 4 qualified (ideally Chartered or working towards)
Based in the South East, South Central or South West England
Ideal:
Currently an AR/RI at a network (e.g. Openwork, ValidPath, Rosemount, 2Plan, Libertas, etc.)
Operating a solo or small advisory practice, or recently exited a role
Frustrated by lack of scale, admin burden, or lack of capital value in current role
Interested in long-term equity value over short-term employed salary

? It’s not tied to any restricted or vertically integrated proposition
