An established and growing fire engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Fire Safety Surveyor to join their expanding team, working across a diverse range of new-build and existing building projects throughout the UK and Ireland.

The Senior Fire Safety Surveyor's Role

The successful Senior Fire Safety Surveyor will undertake a variety of fire safety inspections and surveys, ensuring buildings meet fire safety standards and the requirements of their fire strategies.

Conduct Fire Risk Assessments across various building types.

Undertake fire compartmentation, fire door and fire damper surveys.

Carry out PAS 9980 external wall assessments and cavity barrier inspections.

Complete internal, final and fire strategy compliance inspections.

Produce detailed technical reports, fee proposals and risk assessments.

Liaise directly with clients and provide practical fire safety solutions.

Mentor junior surveyors and support technical development.

The Senior Fire Safety Surveyor

Minimum 3 years' experience in fire safety surveying.

Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification.

Experience across multiple fire safety inspection disciplines.

Strong technical reporting and communication skills.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Fire door inspection qualifications desirable.

IFSM or IFE membership/accreditation advantageous.

Proactive, organised and confident working independently.
