Job Description - Senior Front End Developer

Our Front End Developer will be working on a wide variety of projects, from websites, apps, system applications and more - using modern JavaScript frameworks and a mixture of persistence technologies.

The Role

Produce clean, efficient, testable code using modern web technologies.
Adhere to organisational policies, standards and best practices in application development, documentation, and maintenance that support industry best practices and project approaches
Design and develop mobile friendly applications
Analyse web applications and perform improvements for SEO and Accessibility.
Collaborate with designers, developers and product owners in order to build interactive and scalable sites/software.
Review and refactor code.
Build, develop and maintain frontend toolsets (Webpack, Gulp, etc.)
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
Communicate with the internal team to help clarify development tasks and attend quoting meetings when required.
Prioritise software development projects, set timelines and assign tasks to team members
Attend training and education

Required Experience

6+ years of experience as a Front-End Developer
Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
6+ years of experience with markup languages
6+ years of experience with JavaScript (ES6), CSS (SASS or eq.)
4+ years experience with modern front end frameworks (at least one of. React, Angular or preferably VueJS)
4+ years experience with modern front component libraries (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.)
Knowledgeable concerning clean code, secure coding practices, design patterns, code smells, refactoring, etc.
Aptitude with code authoring tools (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code)
Aptitude with GIT version control
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
Commercial experience with using RESTful APIs

Additional

Expertise in .NET development languages (C#, Razor, etc.)
Experience with modern front end frameworks (React, Angular and VueJS)
Experience with mockup and UI prototyping toolsUnderstanding of security practices

Preferred Qualifications

BA in Computer Science or similar relevant field.

5+ Years of IT Work Experience.
