Senior Full Stack Developer / Technical Lead – Node.js / React / AWS

Location: Midlands – Hybrid, 2–3 days per week onsite

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer / Technical Lead with strong Node.js and React expertise to join a growing technology business delivering modern, cloud-native software solutions.

This is a hands-on leadership role – approximately 70% coding/architecture and 30% leading an onshore and offshore development team.

The Role

Design and build applications using Node.js, React and TypeScript.

Own technical architecture and key engineering decisions.

*

Build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Node.js.

*

Lead, mentor and support onshore and offshore developers.

*

Drive code quality, reviews and engineering standards.

*

Work with AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker and CI/CD.

*

Collaborate with Architects, Cloud, Product and Business teams.

About You

You'll have strong commercial experience with:

Node.js – essential

*

React 18+ and TypeScript – essential

*

REST APIs and modern application architecture

*

AWS and PostgreSQL

*

Docker, Git and CI/CD

*

Leading or mentoring development teams

Terraform, Kubernetes, Redis or microservices experience would be advantageous.
