Senior Fund Controller

Salary: £100,000/yr - £110,000/yr

A globally renowned real estate investment firm, combining deep market expertise with innovative strategies to manage high-value assets and deliver strong returns for investors, is looking for a Senior Fund Controller to take ownership of financial accounting, investor reporting, and transaction structuring for their fund entities and mandates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial aspects of transactions, including tax-efficient structuring, financial due diligence, and fund flow preparation.
• Oversee outsourced accounting functions, review financial statements, and ensure accurate investor reporting.
• Manage fund cash flow, review intercompany transactions, and collaborate with the treasury team on financing.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, manage tax reporting, and oversee governance of fund structures.
• Act as the key finance contact for investors, auditors, and service providers.
• Manage and mentor junior team members, driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Skills:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with around 8 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in real estate investment finance and knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP.
• Expertise in financial modelling, taxation, and investor reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with investors, banks, and service providers.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing junior staff and cross-functional teams.
