Job Description - Senior FX Options Dealer

Our client stands as one of the foremost names in FX, renowned for their comprehensive suite of offerings encompassing FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments, and API integration.

We're in search of a seasoned Senior Dealer to enrich their London Office, bringing with them a proven background in dealing/trading and exceptional sales acumen.

Your role will be pivotal in propelling the company's expansion, achieved through independent research and targeted campaigns aimed at international operating companies within the local market.

As a Senior FX Dealer, Your Responsibilities Encompass:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of corporate clients across various products, spanning FX hedging, lending, and cash management.
  • Executing FX trades (SPOT, FWD, NDF, etc.) with multiple liquidity providers via different trading platforms including Bloomberg/Reuters.
  • Collaborating with sales teams to foster business origination, comprehending client business environments, strategies, and industry nuances to offer tailored solutions.
  • Strategically analysing competitors' strengths and weaknesses to enhance the positioning of the firm's Banking solutions.
  • Meeting dealer -specific KPIs, such as driving repeat and new business revenues, mitigating client churn, upselling high -margin products, and expanding wallet -share.
  • Cultivating and nurturing robust client relationships through regular meetings.
  • Expanding existing business avenues and furnishing constructive feedback to technology and product managers.
  • Initiating new business opportunities through networking with existing clients for referrals.


Requirements

Essential Experience Encompasses:

  • Extensive sales experience within Financial Services, preferably in a sales/relationship management capacity, with a beneficial contacts network.
  • Previous exposure to commercial banking, ideally selling to SMEs, or relevant experience in alternative environments such as FX specialists or cash management.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements.
  • A background in business/finance academia would be advantageous.
  • Possession of CF30 certification is essential.

  • Proven track record of surpassing sales quotas and market share objectives.

  • Ability to devise sales strategies, techniques, and tactics based on customer feedback and market dynamics, emphasising customer needs and expectations.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, capable of nurturing and leveraging relationships at senior levels.
  • Agility in learning systems and strong analytical prowess.
