Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer (Team Lead) required to join a well-established and highly respected multidisciplinary civil, structural and geotechnical consultancy, working remotely to build and lead geo-environmental delivery for a retained client base across the Southwest. (Bristol/Swindon)
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer (Team Lead) to take ownership of an established portfolio of clients across the Southwest region, with a particular focus on sheds and warehouse distribution centre projects, while building and growing a dedicated regional team around you.
The business is based in the North of England and has built a strong reputation delivering civil, structural, geotechnical and geo-environmental services across major commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. As Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer (Team Lead), you will work remotely with full support from the wider technical team in the North, giving you the backing of an experienced multidisciplinary consultancy while having genuine autonomy to shape and grow the Southwest geo-environmental offering.
The Role:
Account manage a retained client base across the Southwest, with a strong pipeline of sheds and warehouse distribution centre work Build and lead a geo-environmental team to deliver projects across the region, with scope to recruit and develop your own people over time Act as the senior client-facing contact for Southwest accounts, driving relationships and identifying new opportunities Oversee contaminated land assessment, due diligence, remediation and geo-environmental reporting across a varied project portfolio Work remotely with full technical, resource and delivery support from the established Northern office Take genuine ownership of the strategic direction and growth of the Southwest geo-environmental businessAbout You:
Senior/Principal level background in geo-environmental or land quality consultancy Proven experience managing client relationships and leading geo-environmental project delivery Strong technical grounding across contaminated land assessment, due diligence and remediation Comfortable operating with autonomy while working as part of a wider national team Based within a commutable distance of Bristol/Swindon, or able to work effectively across the Southwest region Ambition to build, lead and grow a team rather than simply deliver technical workThis is a rare opportunity for a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer (Team Lead) to join a stable, well-regarded consultancy and genuinely build something of their own, backed by the resource, reputation and pipeline of an established Northern business.
