A new opportunity has opened in Sheffield for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. My client is an Environmental and Geotechnical specialist consultancy who have multiple offices over the UK.

As the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects, from residential to mining.

As the Senior Geotechnical Engineer your role will vary from day to day. Your main responsibilities will include signing off interpretative reports, overseeing site investigations, seeing through geotechnical projects from start to finish and mentoring junior staff.

You will have the chance set up hybrid working arrangements with the option to work remotely from home once a week.

Essential criteria:

• Phase 1 + 2 report writing experience
• Hold a geology or civil engineering degree
• Live within a commutable distance from the Sheffield office
• Hold a full UK driving licence
