Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Contract - 6 months rolling
Rate £45 - £50 per hour
Location - Manchester (2 days per week)Key Responsibilities

Lead the geotechnical design of key infrastructure elements, including shafts and below-ground water storage tanks across UK water projects
Deliver directional drilling design solutions, ensuring alignment with project specifications and ground conditions
Analyse ground investigation data to inform safe, efficient geotechnical design decisions
Prepare and review geotechnical design reports for both shallow and piled foundation systems
Support multidisciplinary project delivery across water and rail sectors, collaborating with wider design teams
Undertake occasional site visits to validate design assumptions and support project execution on site
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
