Job Description - Senior Global Retail Marketing Manager (12 month FTC)

We have partnered with an iconic sports apparel and lifestyle brand on an exciting new opportunity.

My client is looking for a Senior Global Retail Marketing Manager to join their HQ on a 12 month fixed term contract. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in visual merchandising as there is a huge focus on in-store design/concept.

As a Senior Retail Marketing Manager you will lead the brands new in-store retail activation programme. My client is looking to globally transform and elevate their products and be the leaders in retail.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the consistent delivery of global retail visual merchandising standards & identity and driving emotional connections with our shoppers across our global priority markets and retailers.

The role:

Manage and lead the development and rollout of in-store retail concepts through working with a retail design agency and ensuring consistency across our global network. Prior experience of doing this is essential!
Acting as the voice of the shopper, championing their needs and preferences within the organisation.
Collaborating with internal regional teams and commercial partners to drive retail activation and support sales initiatives.
Developing compelling marketing plans and assets to inspire and excite our consumers.
Ensuring all retail activations and brand values and resonate with our target audience.
Building relationships and working closely with external agencies to ensure the successful delivery of the retail roll out.
Deliver insight and input to support the creation of retail assets.

About you:

Previous experience in off-line retail marketing, ideally within the apparel or sports industry.
Visual merchandising and proven retail activation experience is key.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional internal teams and external agencies effectively.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
A strategic mindset, capable of translating brand vision into actionable retail strategies.
A passion for driving brand growth and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, as well as flexible working hours.

My client is looking for someone who is immediately available ideally to start in early June.
