Senior Group Financial Accountant

Senior Group Financial Accountant- Central London, Marylebone (2 days per week in the office)- £75,000-£80,000 + Bonus & Benefits

IN2 Consult is partnering with a well established, growing software business in central London on the recruitment of a Senior Group Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role is responsible for overseeing the group consolidation and financial reporting processes as well as partnering with senior stakeholders and driving core process improvement areas.

The key responsibilities for this Senior Group Financial Accountant role include:

• Drive the consolidation of accounts to a group level across monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts
• Work closely with the group financial controller on producing complex year-end statutory accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP standards
• Support the improvement of the intercompany eliminations process
• Help to drive key areas of process improvements across financial reporting
• Work to establish and implement strong financial controls and group accounting policies
• Ad-Hoc Responsibilities

The desired candidate for this Senior Group Financial Accountant role should have the following experience:

• ACA/ACCA Qualified with significant years of post-qualified experience
• Be from a Top 10 Audit/ Accounting firm background with a minimum of 12 months of industry experience within a financial reporting role
• Strong experience in auditing or producing group financial accounts
• Have an extensive understanding of core IFRS reporting standards
• Experience in partnering with key stakeholders
• Track record of driving change and process improvement
• Advanced Excel Skills
