My client is seeking a skilled Senior Design Engineer to join its growing consultancy, delivering high-profile infrastructure and development projects across the UK. My client is a well-established transport planning and engineering consultancy providing services across highways design, transport planning, drainage and infrastructure. With continued growth across multiple UK offices, they offer a collaborative environment focused on professional development and technical excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will:
·Lead the delivery of Section 278 and Section 38 highway design projects.
·Manage project programmes, budgets and team resources.
·Prepare, review and approve technical designs and reports.
·Ensure compliance with DMRB, MCHW and local authority standards.
·Mentor and develop junior engineers.
·Liaise with clients, local authorities and key stakeholders.
·Support highway drainage design and contract documentation production.
·Promote innovation, quality and Health & Safety best practice.
What You'll Need
·Experience delivering S278 and S38 highway schemes.
·Strong highway design and project management experience.
·Knowledge of DMRB and highway contracts.
·Experience with Causeway Flow PDS and Civil 3D.
·Previous experience managing and mentoring design teams.
