We’re working with a well-established transport consultancy seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their Hampshire office. This is a great opportunity for a design-focused engineer looking to lead technical highway infrastructure projects.

You’ll play a hands-on role in delivering practical, high-quality design solutions across a range of transport schemes.

Key responsibilities:

Producing and reviewing detailed highway design outputs (DMRB, MfS, MCHW etc.)
Solving complex design challenges and ensuring compliance with standards
Supporting junior engineers and guiding CAD output
Managing your own tasks and contributing to wider programme planning
Preparing fee proposals and managing external sub-consultants

What you’ll bring:

Solid experience in highway or transport infrastructure design
Knowledge of relevant design standards and CDM regulations
Proficiency with AutoCAD and a good eye for detail
Strong communication and collaborative skills
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
