Senior HR & Organisational Development Adviser – RewardLocation: Sheffield Salary: £40,000–£45,000 DOE Hours: 0.6 FTE – 3 days per week Client: Sheffield Hallam University
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior HR & Organisational Development Adviser – Reward to join the HROD team at Sheffield Hallam University.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional with specialist reward knowledge who is looking for a senior-level role working three days per week.
The role will focus on providing expert advice across reward, benefits, pay and job evaluation, while supporting the development and improvement of reward practices across the University.
The RoleYou will work closely with managers, senior stakeholders and colleagues across HROD, providing specialist advice and guidance on:
Salary benchmarking and market-based reward analysis
Job evaluation and grading
Annual pay review processes
Pay, contractual terms and employee retention
Reward, benefits and recognition programmes
Reward advice during organisational change
Developing and improving reward policies and processes
Producing analysis and recommendations to support decision-making
Delivering guidance and training around reward processes
Working collaboratively with recognised Trade Unions and wider stakeholders
About YouWe're looking for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in reward, compensation and benefits.
You'll ideally have:
Significant experience working within reward or a specialist HR environment
Strong knowledge of job evaluation, ideally HAY and/or HERA
Experience with salary benchmarking and market-pay analysis
Experience designing or managing reward and recognition processes
Strong numerical, analytical and research skills
Good knowledge of relevant employment legislation and reward practices
Experience advising managers and senior stakeholders
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
Experience supporting projects, policy development and training
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR systems
What's on Offer? £40,000–£45,000 DOE
0.6 FTE – 3 days per week
Sheffield location
Hybrid working, subject to role and team requirements
30 days' annual leave for senior Professional Services staff, plus bank holidays and University closure days, pro rata
