Senior HR BP

Your new companyOur client is an established organisation operating within the infrastructure sector across the UK and Ireland. Working in a complex, project-led environment, the business is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to help shape and deliver its people agenda.

Your new role
As Senior HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leaders to align people's plans with business priorities, support organisational change and strengthen employee engagement, performance and organisational effectiveness. This is a hybrid role requiring travel to business and project locations across the UK and Ireland.

Key responsibilities will include:

Partnering with senior leaders on people strategy, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and organisational development.
Leading the people aspects of change initiatives, ensuring they are delivered effectively, fairly and sensitively.
Acting as a trusted adviser on complex employee relations, investigations, grievances, disciplinary matters and performance management.
Coaching and challenging managers and senior stakeholders, providing clear, commercially focused and legally compliant HR guidance.
Working with Learning and Development to identify skills gaps, strengthen leadership capability and support career development.
Driving initiatives that improve engagement, inclusion, wellbeing and retention.
Using workforce data and HR analytics to identify trends, support decision-making and measure the impact of people initiatives.
Improving HR policies, processes and systems to increase efficiency, consistency and effectiveness.
Building strong relationships across the business and collaborating with Recruitment, HR Operations, Reward and other specialist teams.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a credible and experienced HR professional who can build trusted relationships, influence at senior level and confidently challenge stakeholders when required. You will be comfortable operating within a complex, multi-site organisation and able to balance strategic priorities with hands-on delivery.

You will also have:

A degree in human resources, business or a related discipline - essential.
A CIPD qualification or equivalent professional accreditation - desirable.
Evidence of continued professional development - essential.
Strong experience of complex employee relations, performance management and organisational change.
Experience of workforce and talent planning, succession planning, employee engagement and using people data to inform decisions.
The ability to provide robust, practical HR guidance and communicate complex or sensitive matters clearly.
Ideally, experience within infrastructure, construction or a similar project-led sector. Applications are also welcomed from candidates who have worked in organisations of comparable scale and complexity.What you'll get in return
