I'm delighted to be supporting a well known and highly regarded National Law firm in recruiting for a Senior HR Business Partner.
In this role you will be one of three Senior HR Business Partners and you will be aligned to a number of specific practice areas as well as Business Services functions.
When speaking to the hiring manager, the key areas that have been identified as being important in a candidate are:
A strategic thinker who can contribute to and support the HR strategy in line with business objectives
Someone who has the ability to influence at all levels up to Partner level and take part in complex discussions, constructively challenging where appropriate
Someone who is ambitious and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
Someone who understands nuance and can balance requests from their aligned areas with the overall firm HR and business strategy
Commercial and business acumen
Guiding and coaching leaders on ER and HR issues in line with policies and best practice
Either legal sector experience, or if not, then someone who has worked in a fast-paced professional services or corporate environment with excellent HR Advisory experience
This firm has approximately 670 employees spread across 9 sites with this role being based at the biggest office in Bristol.
Some travel will be required however the majority of the role can be covered from Bristol and the hybrid working arrangement allows for 2-3 days a week working from home on average.
We can consider someone who is looking to work 4 days a week.
