Job Description - Senior Hydraulic Modeller

As a Senior Wastewater (Hydraulic) Modeller, you won’t just be delivering great projects you’ll be driving real-world change. You'll work with multi-disciplinary teams of industry experts on capital delivery programmes that matter helping protect communities, enhance infrastructure, and future-proof water networks for generations to come. You'll have the freedom to influence optioneering, outline design, and detailed delivery across a huge variety of technically demanding wastewater infrastructure projects.

Senior Wastewater Modeller Responsibilities:

Deliver innovative wastewater catchment strategies and solutions hydraulic modelling, analysis, optioneering, cost-benefit studies to high standards, on time, and within budget.
Lead and inspire multi-disciplinary project teams, offering technical direction, mentorship, and motivation to others.
Drive continuous improvement in our tools, processes, and approaches always pushing for smarter, faster, better ways to work.
Build strong, trusted relationships with major UK water companies and collaborate across teams.
Travel occasionally to client sites and offices to keep strong collaboration alive.

What it takes to be successful:

Expertise in hydraulic modelling and wastewater catchment planning.
Strong hands-on skills with InfoWorks ICM (and ideally ICM Exchange) and GIS platforms like MapInfo, ArcGIS, or QGIS.
A track record of thriving in urban drainage projects, working seamlessly within a team environment.
Passion for mentoring, leading, and delivering exceptional client service.
Working knowledge of UK water legislation and regulation.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
