We are supporting a leading engineering consultancy in the water sector who are looking to engage an experienced Senior Hydraulics Engineer on an initial 4.5-month contract.
Working within a specialist water team, you will provide technical expertise across water and wastewater infrastructure projects, supporting hydraulic design, modelling, analysis and optimisation activities from concept through to delivery.
Key Experience Required:
* Strong background within the UK water and wastewater sector * Hydraulic modelling and network flow analysis experience * Surge analysis / water hammer studies * HADES experience * Thermofluids knowledge * Understanding of UK water industry standards and regulations * Ability to produce technical calculations, reports and engineering deliverables * Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams * Previous consultancy experience desirable
The Role
* Deliver hydraulic modelling and analysis activities * Support the design and optimisation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects * Produce technical reports, specifications and calculations * Work closely with Civil and MEICA teams * Support construction and commissioning activities * Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver effective engineering solutions
Contract Details
* Location: Manchester (Hybrid) * Duration: Initial 4.5 months * Start: August 2026 * Hours: 47.5 hours per week * IR35: To be determined
