Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Active SC required

Support and administration of the AutoSys Workload Automation platform used to manage DWP batch scheduling services. The engineer will provide operational support, incident resolution, platform maintenance and participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota to maintain service availability.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain operational support for the AutoSys Workload Automation estate.

Maintain and optimise the BMC Helix platform suite.

Contribute to out-of-hours support arrangements and improve team resilience.

Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions supporting Flexera SaaS integration.

Provide engineering expertise and leadership to enable strategic workstreams to continue whilst maintaining BAU services.

Support service availability, stability and operational effectiveness across DWP tooling services.

Required Experience

Resources must possess demonstrable experience of one or more of the following technologies:

AutoSys Workload Automation (WLA)

BMC Helix Operations Manager (BHOM)

BMC Helix Capacity Optimisation (BHCO)

BMC Helix Discovery

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

DevOps engineering practices

Flexera Software Asset Management platform (desirable)
