A global brand based in Bradford is looking for a hands-on infrastructure leader to take charge of their enterprise-level IT environment and progress into an ICT Manager role over the next 12-18 months.

This is a role for someone who's just as comfortable racking a switch as they are discussing IT strategy with senior stakeholders. You'll initially focus on infrastructure support, networking, and security consolidation, before gradually stepping into a broader IT management position.

Working closely with global teams, you'll maintain a robust, secure, and scalable environment while driving technical improvements. From managing firewalls and data centre migrations to Azure, to optimising core networking and security, you'll have the chance to truly shape the infrastructure.

What you'll be doing:

• Running and improving an enterprise-level infrastructure
• Leading on networking, infrastructure support, and security projects.
• Managing and maintaining core networking - switches, routers, firewalls.
• Working with Aruba or Cisco networking, SonicWall and Fortigate firewalls, VMware, and Azure cloud environments.
• Consolidating and strengthening security measures across the business.
• Laying the groundwork for your transition into the ICT Manager role.

What we're looking for:

• Senior Infrastructure Engineer or Infrastructure Manager experience in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong core networking skills - switches, routers, firewall configuration and management.
• Experience with Aruba or Cisco, SonicWall / Fortigate firewalls, VMware, Azure, and security consolidation.
• Hands-on technical ability, with leadership potential and a desire to step up into ICT management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
