A senior leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Director of Integration Architecture to provide strategic direction across enterprise-wide integration initiatives, shaping technology strategy while driving measurable commercial growth.

This role operates at the intersection of enterprise architecture, executive advisory and business development, engaging extensively with C-suite and senior leadership teams. The Director will lead the definition, governance and execution of large-scale integration architectures that deliver long-term business value, operational efficiency and competitive advantage.

The Role

The Director of Integration Architecture will set the strategic vision for integration across complex organisations, translating business objectives into scalable, secure and future-proof integration solutions. The role combines hands-on architectural leadership with executive influence, commercial ownership and capability development.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading enterprise-level integration architecture strategy, including the definition and delivery of integration roadmaps aligned to business and technology objectives
• Directing complex, multi-year integration transformation programmes, ensuring consistency, scalability and architectural governance
• Acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives and C-suite stakeholders, shaping decision-making and influencing technology investment
• Driving business development activities, including strategic sales engagement, solution shaping and commercial negotiations
• Providing architectural leadership across API management, event-driven architectures, microservices and hybrid cloud environments
• Establishing and governing integration standards, patterns and best practices at enterprise scale
• Mentoring and developing senior architects, building long-term integration capability and leadership depth

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic architecture expertise, executive-level communication skills and commercial acumen, with a proven ability to deliver integration strategies that enable business transformation.

Essential experience includes:

• Extensive senior-level experience in integration architecture and enterprise architecture leadership
• Deep expertise in API-led integration, event-driven architecture, microservices and hybrid/cloud integration
• Strong commercial and technical experience with leading integration and iPaaS platforms, such as:
  • Workato
  • Boomi
  • MuleSoft
  • Azure Integration Services
  • SAP BTP
  • SnapLogic
  • Informatica
• Proven application of enterprise architecture frameworks, with TOGAF certification essential
• Demonstrated ability to influence and engage executive and board-level stakeholders
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial judgement and experience contributing to revenue growth and sales strategy
• Track record of leading high-impact architecture initiatives within complex, enterprise environments
