Senior Interior Designer

Randstad is partnering with an award winning workplace consultancy just outside of Manchester to recruit for a Senior Interior Designer.

The Role:

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be a key player in delivering cutting-edge workplace solutions from concept to completion. You will lead projects, develop innovative designs, and work closely with clients and colleagues to bring visions to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple interior design projects from initial brief to successful handover.
• Develop compelling design concepts, mood boards, and detailed technical drawing packages.
• Translate client needs and strategic workplace consultancy insights into functional and inspiring designs.
• Ensure full compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant legislation.
• Create comprehensive FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) specifications and schedules.
• Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and external consultants.
• Present design concepts with confidence and passion to diverse stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior designers, contributing to the growth of the design team.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, materials, and technologies.

About You:

• You possess a strong portfolio showcasing a proven track record of delivering high-quality commercial interior design projects.
• You have extensive experience (ideally 5+ years) in a similar Senior Interior Designer role within the commercial, retail, or hospitality sectors.
• You are proficient in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
• You have exceptional communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
• You are a creative problem-solver with a meticulous eye for detail.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• You are passionate about creating impactful spaces that enhance wellbeing and productivity.
