Senior Internal Auditor

A Senior Internal Auditor position is available in Nottingham for an individual with strong auditing skills and a keen eye for detail in the industrial/manufacturing sector. This role involves ensuring the company's financial operations and controls meet standards and are error-free.

Description

• Conducting internal audits and reporting findings to management
• Ensuring company-wide compliance with internal regulations and policies
• Identifying potential areas of risk and implementing measures to mitigate these risks
• Working closely with the accounting and finance department to review financial information
• Recommending improvements to internal controls and processes
• Assisting in the preparation of annual audit plans
• Carrying out ad hoc projects as required by the management

Profile

A successful Senior Internal Auditor should have:

• Relevant academic qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Relvant Qualification i.e ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIA
• Previous experience working within internal audit
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of integrity
• Strong communication and report writing skills
