Description

• Conduct thorough internal audits to assess financial and operational risks.
• Develop and implement audit plans aligned with organisational objectives.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and present to management.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Provide guidance to departments on risk management best practices.
• Support the development of internal audit frameworks and methodologies.

Profile

A successful Senior Internal Auditor should have:

• A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Experience in internal audit, ideally within the automotive or retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with financial software and tools.
