Job Description - Senior Internal Auditor

A global Reinsurer have partnered with Arthur exclusively on the search for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their lean but expanding Internal Audit function based in London.

Reporting directly into the Head of Internal Audit and working closely with the Senior Manager you will play a key role in assessing and enhancing controls framework.

Support annual risk assessments and the development of risk-based audit plans.
Assess internal controls, governance, and risk management effectiveness through walkthroughs and control testing.
Conduct operational and financial audits, communicate findings, and ensure timely issue resolution.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business changes, manage multiple projects, and align audit priorities with strategic goals.
Present insights to senior leadership, stay informed on industry developments, and mentor junior team members.

You must be;

Qualified professional (e.g., CIA, CA/ACA/ACCA, CPA) with internal audit experience in the Lloyd's Insurance market
Strong knowledge of insurance operations, regulatory compliance, and frameworks such as Solvency II and Lloyd’s Minimum Standards.
Proven ability to assess internal controls, analyse complex issues, and produce clear, detailed reports.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently while engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.
