Job Description - Senior International Operations Agent

We are recruiting for an experienced Ocean Import Clerk to join a forwarder based in Colnbrook.  Salary up to £35,000.

To be considered for this role, you will have 5+ years experience in a freight forwarding role with vast knowledge of end to end processes. 

Role Summary:
Ensure the smooth and on time processing of Import shipments from point of origin through to customer door. Compliant completion of customs entries in line with HMRC guidelines. Maintain and further develop customer relationships by providing outstanding customer service. 

Duties:
  • Co-Ordination of Air, Road, Ocean & Rail Import movements
  • Carrying out customs clearance
  • Utilizing required platforms to Destin8/CNS etc
  • Handling correspondence with customers, agents & service providers
  • Execute all shipments in compliance with all applicable laws & regulations 
  • Securing a high level of customer satisfaction while complying with customer-specific processes and procedures
