About the role
A leading UK financial services organisation is hiring a Senior IT Audit Manager to lead a portfolio of technology audits within a well-respected, board-trusted Internal Audit function. You'll take end-to-end ownership of audits across cyber security, IT operations, operational resilience and data governance, while coaching IA Managers and junior colleagues and acting as a senior advisor to leadership.
What you'll do
Lead and prioritise a portfolio of IT audits and ad-hoc projects, resolving resource conflicts and keeping delivery on track from planning through to reporting and action follow-up Coach IA Managers and junior colleagues to strengthen issue framing and root-cause recommendations Build trust with senior stakeholders through evidence-led challenge, establishing credibility across audits Identify cross-cutting themes that reframe organisational risk thinking Partner with senior audit leadership to implement modern audit methods, including AI, and bring best practice into the functionWhat you'll bring
CISA as a minimum; CISM, CISSP or AIAA desirable, with relevant post-qualification experience Proven senior stakeholder influencing skills at CTO, CISO and -1 level Leadership and coaching experience, with a track record managing or developing auditors Deep experience overseeing a portfolio of technical IT audits across Cyber, IT Operations, Operational Resilience and Data Governance Awareness of AI and Frontier AI risks Familiarity with key UK technology risk regulations Experience auditing outsourced processes and technical platforms (Microsoft Windows, Azure, AWS)if the above sounds like you please send a copy of your latest CV or call for a confidential discussion!
