This role is suited to someone with strong 3rd line experience , a proactive mindset, and a passion for modernising IT systems across both on-premise and cloud platforms . You will play a key role in maintaining stability, driving improvements, and acting as a senior escalation point within the team. The Role As a Senior IT Engineer, you will operate across support, infrastructure, and project work, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with best practices. You will: Act as a 3rd line escalation point for complex technical issues Lead and deliver infrastructure and cloud projects Maintain and optimise Microsoft 365 and server environments Work closely with clients to design and implement technical solutions Support and mentor junior engineers Identify opportunities for automation, improvement, and standardisation This role combines hands-on technical work with ownership and influence over how systems are designed and supported.
