Senior IT Procurement Manager

Butler Rose is delighted to be supporting a globally recognised market leader in the recruitment of a Senior IT Procurement Manager as part of a major initiative to build a brand-new procurement function. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to shape the future of procurement within a forward-thinking organisation and to be one of the first hires in this new procurement structure.

In this newly created role, you will lead IT procurement strategy, support senior stakeholders across the business, and ensure supplier partnerships deliver innovation, performance, and value. You'll be a key driver of transformation, playing a strategic role in maturing supplier governance and optimising commercial outcomes across IT categories including SaaS, cloud, software, and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing activities across IT spend

• Develop category plans, identify savings and value opportunities

• Own supplier relationship management and contract performance

• Drive compliance with procurement governance, policy, and risk management

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives

Person Spec

• Proven experience in strategic IT Procurement, including SaaS and cloud-based agreements

• Strong commercial and contract negotiation skills (ideally with a background in S2P)

• Deep understanding of licensing models and supplier governance frameworks

• Adept at building strong relationships across senior leadership and suppliers

• Confident leading tenders, analysing spend, and delivering commercial value
