Senior IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to join a dynamic and growing IT service provider based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT professional to play a key role in shaping technical operations, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the strategic direction of the IT support function.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior IT Support Engineer in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire include:

• Lead and manage complex technical support issues across client environments, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
• Provide expert support in Windows technologies and related infrastructure (server, desktop, cloud, and network environments).
• Oversee and contribute to BAU support as well as deliver technical input on IT projects (migrations, deployments, upgrades).
• Act as an escalation point for the support team and work closely with stakeholders to drive issue resolution and service improvements.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering technical growth across the team.
• Assist in shaping IT policies, documentation, and best practices across client systems.

Key Requirements for the position of Senior IT Support Engineer in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire include:

• Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in IT support roles, including experience in client-facing or MSP environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, networking fundamentals, and cloud-based solutions.
• Demonstrated experience working in both BAU and project delivery contexts.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a proactive and professional approach.
• Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
• Ability to pass DBS checks.
