Senior Java Engineer Crypto Trading Technology

Looking to connect with experienced Java Engineers for an opportunity within a leading digital asset firm in London.

The team is building next-generation crypto trading systems, with a focus on high-performance, low-latency trading technology.

What they're looking for:

• 10+ years of relevant software development experience
• Strong core Java skills and in-depth knowledge of concurrency and multithreaded programming
• Experience developing low-latency pricing or trading systems in a Linux environment
• Strong application performance profiling and optimisation experience
• Background in one or more of OMS, market connectivity, low-latency messaging or price distribution

Additional experience that would be advantageous:

• eFX development and zero-GC environments
• FIX / SBE protocols
• Aeron, 29West or other low-latency messaging technologies
• Fault-tolerant, highly available distributed systems
• Docker, Kubernetes and AWS
• Exposure to digital assets / cryptocurrency
