You'll liaise with external design team members and address coordination issues.
You’ll attend regular CPD sessions and events, including design crits and knowledge sharing sessions in the office.
You’ll work closely with other members of staff including designers, foremen, site and maintenance operatives, and the admin team to achieve project and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll mange and programme the deliverables on projects through each Workstage to meet the required milestones and deadlines.
You’ll manage the design process and act as a primary point of contact for clients, presenting design concepts and help to build long-term relationships.
You’ll coordinate tender packages, specifications, presentations, and other documents as part of the design process.
You'll take a lead role in managing the health and safety obligations of a designer for all projects you are working on along with assisting more junior designers to fulfil their H&S obligations.
You’ll support the Design Director and Head of Studio in the day to day resource management of the department.
You’ll supervise, guide, and mentor junior staff, supporting their development and career growth.
Contribute to fee proposals, bid writing, and work-winning activities to support studio growth
Your Skills & Experience
You’ll have a degree in landscape architecture, but we’ll also welcome experienced garden designers with a diploma in garden design.
You’ll have strong design skills and you’ll understand how to conduct effective site analysis that translates into a coordinated design.
You’ll have a good knowledge of planting and planting styles.
You’ll be experienced in using 2D AutoCAD, InDesign, Sketch Up and Photoshop.
You’ll be fluent in both spoken and written English.
You’ll be organised, analytical and manage your time efficiently.
You'll have a competent understanding of planning legislation and how this relates to projects.
You'll have an in depth understanding of landscape construction techniques, construction programmes site processes, including monitoring construction work and site reporting.
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days based in the office Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
