Senior / Lead QA Engineer - Middlesbrough

• Hybrid Remote in Middlesbrough - 1 day a month in the office.
• Salary up to £55k.
• 5 years + experience needed

WHO ARE WE?

We are a Software House working on a variety of projects covering both hospitality and tech for good. We are looking for a Lead / Senior QA to join our tech team who will be working into the CTO (a former QA) and alongside on projects and will have 2 direct reports. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

We are looking for a confident and driven Lead / Senior QA Engineer who will hit the ground running in this position. We are looking for someone with a passion for software quality and the ability to help us grow. You'll still be very hands on but will also be mentoring and leading 2 QA's.

A key part of this role will be enforcing quality and dealing with defects. You will also be required to attending regular meetings. You will be involved in both manual and automation testing, as well as conducting Functional, Regression, UAT and End to End Testing.

The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication skills and will enjoy voicing their ideas!

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…

• Experience writing Automation tests.
• Previous experience in a Senior role.
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript & Cypress.
• Experience with Functional, Regression, UAT and End to End Testing.
• Working knowledge of project management tooling such as JIRA.
• The ability to drive quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
