Senior Legal Counsel - Investment Banking

MERJE is seeking a talented Senior Legal Counsel for a leading Investment Bank in London.

As Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing high-level legal advice and support across various business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on complex financial transactions and regulatory matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Collaborate with business teams to develop and implement legal strategies
• Manage and mitigate legal risks across the organisation

Required knowledge

• Qualified solicitor ideally 4-7 years PQE
• In-depth knowledge of investment banking and securities regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to develop relationships at all levels across the business
