Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lettings Negotiator to join the team, taking responsibility for driving new business, conducting valuations and leading the lettings process from instruction through to completion.

This is a genuinely varied role for an experienced property professional who can demonstrate a successful track record of winning business and conducting valuations. Alongside managing the lettings process, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the company's marketing and social media activity, including its charity initiatives.

The successful candidate will be expected to lead by example, deliver exceptional service and play an important role in the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct property valuations and demonstrate a proven track record of converting valuations into new business.


• Proactively prospect for future landlords and identify new business opportunities.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and prospective clients.


• Conduct engaging property viewings, showcasing properties and highlighting their key features and benefits.


• Manage the end-to-end lettings process, including applications, referencing and tenancy documentation.


• Manage and process property relets.


• Communicate effectively with landlords, tenants and internal teams throughout the lettings process.


• Assist with the marketing of available properties to maximise exposure and generate interest.


• Take an active role in the company's charity initiatives.


• Stay up to date with local market conditions and relevant lettings legislation.


• Deliver consistently high levels of customer service and ensure best practice throughout the lettings process.


• Lead by example within the wider team and contribute positively to team morale and performance.


• Identify opportunities to improve processes, service levels and business performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year's relevant property experience.


• Proven experience within lettings


• Demonstrable experience conducting property valuations.


• A proven track record of winning and converting new business.


• Strong knowledge of the property industry and lettings process.


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.


• Positive, professional and enthusiastic approach.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to lead by example and support colleagues.


• Strong understanding of customer service and service excellence.


• Knowledge of relevant lettings legislation and regulations is desirable but not essential, with training available where required.


• Full UK driving licence.

• £32,000 - £38,000 basic salary / £38,000 - £45,000 OTE


• Monday to Friday – no weekends


• 31 days annual leave including bank holidays
