We have an opportunity within HSBC Asset Management for a Liquidity Investment Specialist

This position is part of the EMEA Liquidity Investment Specialist team and has close association with EMEA-based and Global Investments, Sales, Service, Product and Operations teams and are responsible for the delivery of Global Liquidity Investment objectives and business plans. The role includes direct ownership and accountability for a number of key growth initiatives as well as supporting wider activities of the Liquidity team.

In this role you will:

• Supporting client facing and distribution centric activities to increase Liquidity AUM and revenues, as well as the appropriate positioning of HSBC solutions to optimise the understanding of risks and differentiators.
• Partnering with the Portfolio Managers to deliver Investment excellence and as the conduit between Sales and Investment teams.
• Under pin the Liquidity capability’s solution strategy and optimal product set, managing pertinent data sets and providing reporting and insights to clients, markets and competitor trends.
• Provide guidance on specific Liquidity growth and transformation initiatives, including product development activity and specific Front Office projects.
• Act as the Liquidity subject matter expert, with ownership of relevant capability and market/industry insights.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Possess a strong understanding of the Asset Management business unit including its infrastructure and the associated investment processes is essential
• Strong understanding of global cash investment processes and products and the needs of Treasury segment investors, i.e. Money Market Funds
• Ability to influence and manage stakeholder relationships that requiring the ability to balance competing demands while maintaining high quality standards and meeting time-sensitive deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and adept at selecting the appropriate messaging style and content to achieve the maximum impact is essential.
• Commercially led analytical lens with the ability to take a wide range to information and create useful insights, content and reports.
• Confident project manager mindset who can be relied upon to get the right result when under pressure in a pragmatic and professional way is essential.
