Job Description - Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Credit Risk)

OVERVIEW
​
The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will
design our model architecture, and create reproducible pipelines, while also
being deeply engaged in algorithmic design and model training to ensure our
solutions are both highly accurate and resilient in production. You will be one
of the key subject matter experts for data and AI within the business. You will
be expected to identify opportunities, propose solutions and influence
stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of AI and ML, your primary focus will be
enhancing and deploying our credit risk and valuation models in AWS, building
and deploying discounted cash flow models and exploring new machine learning
and data engineering applications to solve complex business challenges.
  


Requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential:

  • Experience in deploying machine learning
    models.
  • Experience working with Docker and
    containers
  • Strong problem solving ability.
  • Advanced Python experience.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts
    clearly to non -technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with AWS services.
  • Experience working with credit risk
    models.

Preferred:

  • Degree in a quantitative or highly
    technical field (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering or
    similar).
  • Understanding of financial concepts such
    as discounted cash flows.
