Senior Maintenance Engineer - Mere, Wiltshire - £40,000-£45,000 39 Hours per Week & Permanent

We're recruiting for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team at in Mere, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of engineering operations across a busy manufacturing site while playing a key role in major re-engineering & new product development projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out hands-on fault finding, repairs & preventative maintenance on mechanical & electrical equipment
Diagnosing breakdowns quickly to minimise production downtime
Programming & maintaining industrial machinery
Supporting major engineering & re-engineering projects across the business
Improving equipment reliability through continuous improvement initiatives
Maintaining engineering records, documentation & maintenance procedures
Supporting new product development alongside the Head of Product

About You

We're looking for an experienced engineer in Mere, Wiltshire who enjoys being hands-on. You'll ideally have:

Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience
Experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing machinery
Excellent fault-finding & diagnostic skills
Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems
Experience working within a manufacturing environment
Strong communication & organisational skills
A proactive approach to continuous improvementIt would be advantageous if you have experience with:

CNC machinery
PLC programming
Visual Basic programming
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or PFMEA
Engineering project management
