THE ROLE

As Senior Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the financial strategy and governance of this exceptional organisation. This is a high-visibility position where your expertise will directly influence strategic decision-making at the highest levels.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the production of management accounts and financial reporting for senior stakeholders
• Providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic business decisions
• Managing and mentoring junior team members to foster a high-performance culture
• Developing and enhancing financial controls and processes
• Partnering with business leaders to drive profitability and operational excellence
• Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

We're looking for an exceptional finance professional who brings:

• Qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a senior financial role within financial services
• Experience in wealth management would be highly advantageous
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent analytical abilities
• Advanced skills in financial systems and Excel
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with meticulous attention to detail
• Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop others
