Senior Management Accountant - Future Financial Controller Opportunity
Are you a qualified or part-qualified accountant ready to step into a broader, more strategic finance role? This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven finance professional to join a well-established business, with a clear development path to Financial Controller within 12-18 months.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll take ownership of core financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. You'll also support commercial decision-making, ensure compliance (VAT, PAYE, tax), and provide insights on sales, stock, and cost variances.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing monthly management accounts and financial statements
• Cost controller duties - Leading product costing and manufacturing variance analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Financial reporting
• Cash management
• Managing cash flow, creditor payments, and supporting payroll
• Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP & IFRS
• Acting as a key ERP user and driving process improvements

What We're Looking For

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified/finalist/PQ
• 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing or commercial finance role
• Strong technical and analytical skills with Excel & ERP experience
• A proactive mindset and desire to grow into a senior leadership role
