Senior Management Accountant

Hays Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering with a manufacturing company in Stroud to recruit a Senior Management Accountant, a new role hired specifically to drive the business forwards and provide key stakeholders with valuable data and MI. This is a site-based role with some additional flexibility.

The role

This role will suit someone who wants to make a difference and will be tasked with partnering across the business to bring a modern S&OP approach to their site efficiency, improving effectiveness, inventory management, financial controls and building world-class dashboards on PowerBI to measure KPI's. There will be plenty of time to add value as month end is a quick and efficient process.

This role has an opportunity to make big change in a short period of time and really make an impact in a business looking to hugely ramp up efficiency. The organisation is keen to welcome new talent, which means quick potential progression in the division, as well as across the several hundred million international group.

About you

This is a fantastic and impactful opportunity for a qualified accountant, who has experience operating within a manufacturing environment and understands all the nuances that a site based role entails. Any knowledge of ERP systems will be greatly beneficial.

As a Senior Management Accountant / Business Partner your role will include but not be limited to:

• Partner with the Operations Director and their team, regularly providing key data and commercial insights
• Prepare the Management Accounts to EBITDA level
• Prepare financial and data analysis with particular emphasis on factory performance and overhead control
• Design and prepare weekly KPI Statements with particular emphasis on factory performance, output and efficiency
• Support the Divisional FC in defining best practice in relation to management, factory and operational KPI accounting
