Location: Harrogate (Hybrid - 3 days on-site)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Are you a driven and experienced Senior Management Accountant looking to take full ownership of the month-end process in a dynamic and growing business? We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant to join a well-established an environmental business based in Harrogate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the month-end process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Prepare management accounts, variance analysis, and insightful commentary
• Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of key control accounts
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Business partner with departmental heads to provide financial insight and challenge
• Assist in year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation
• Identify process improvements and support system enhancements

About You:

• Fully qualified QBE or finalist (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Proven experience of managing the full month-end process with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Confident communicator, able to build relationships across finance and non-finance teams
• Proficient with Excel and experience using modern ERP systems
