Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for driving performance through insightful reporting and collaboration?

Elevation Recruitment Group are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to lead a small team and act as a key business partner to UK manufacturing operations.

You’ll play a vital role in helping stakeholders understand gross margin drivers, improve cost control, and deliver stronger financial results.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Senior Management Accountant:

• Lead and develop a team of two Management Accountants, supporting UK manufacturing sites
• Take full ownership of management accounts across multiple manufacturing business units
• Collaborate with department heads on budget creation, cost tracking, and financial compliance
• Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to senior leadership
• Provide budget vs. forecast variance analysis to help drive performance
• Partner with supply chain, planning, operations, sales, and customer service to improve inventory management and cost efficiency
• Monitor and optimise stock levels, preparing regular reports and recommending improvements
• Assist in long-term planning, forecasting, and product innovation initiatives
• Support the annual audit process and champion continuous improvement in financial systems and controls
• Help develop and implement finance reporting software across the wider business

Key Skills & Experience required:

• Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) – or QBE with strong manufacturing finance experience
• Proven experience in stock/inventory-focused environments
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Commercial mindset with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
• Comfortable working at pace and juggling priorities
