Senior Manager

A fantastic opportunity for a qualified or qualified by experience accountant who currently works in an accountancy practice or is looking to return to a practice role.  This is a hugely varied non-audit senior manager role working with clients across all sectors including farming and agriculture.

On offer is flexible working, a highly competitive salary up to £60,000, 25 days holiday (+ stats.)

The senior manager role will oversee a portfolio of clients and works closely with team members to manage the department. The work primarily involves the delivery of a wide range of timely, high quality accounts and tax compliance assignments for clients.

The role also requires supervision and mentoring of trainees. Whilst the focus is on compliance, there are also many opportunities to significantly expand the range and breadth of experience through direct engagement with clients, attending and leading meetings, ad-hoc projects and working as part of a team to deliver a proactive service.

We are looking for;

• ACA/ACCA qualification or qualified by experience.
• Experience of preparation/review of sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts.
• Ability to manage portfolio work.
• Experience of supervising and reviewing the work of trainees
• Ability to work with people at all levels
