Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a highly prominent mid-tier accounting firm with offices based in a highly prestigious area of London, that are eager to appoint an experienced and qualified bi-lingual German speaking Senior Manager who can lead the firm's corporate International clients department.

Role Requirements -
Working with international corporate clients (headquartered abroad with a branch, subsidiary or
permanent establishment in the UK) and private clients (income tax, inheritance tax, payroll etc.)
Leading a team of up to 5 and ensuring that the client is serviced on time and as per agreed deadlines.
Reviewing the work of and training more junior staff
Working closely with the head of department (on-boarding new clients, fee proposals, billing, regular fee reviews, department reports etc.)
Implementing processes
Working closely with other departments to ensure deadlines are met e.g. annual accounts, audits,
corporation tax returns
Sense checking accounts, corporation tax, bookkeeping, monthly reporting, VAT
Broad understanding of European taxes in general
Direct client contact and liaison with colleagues from other departments within the firm as well as overseas colleagues from the wider group
Billing (to include WIP control and reviewing processes to increase efficiency's, if required)

Person Requirements -

Fully ACA or ACCA qualified with 5+ years' PQE and currently working in the capacity of Manager/Senior Manager for a prominent UK based accounting firm
Fluency in a German (other Western European languages will also be considered), both spoken and written.
Experience of working with international clients and working abroad would be highly beneficial
Xero and other cloud-based accounting experience
Microsoft Office - especially Excel skills (pivot tables and SUMIF)
