We're currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Manager Regulatory Compliance.
As Senior Manager Regulatory Compliance, you will play a key role in providing advice, and challenge to for business decisions based on thorough understanding of key trends, opportunities and threats impacting the Regulatory Compliance function. The role requires strong partnership with the Global Trade Solutions business to drive and accelerate the execution of Regulatory Compliance programmes that directly impact business performance. This role will also contribute to the implementation of policies into the Global Trade Solutions business and as such it will require close collaboration with various Risk and Global Trade Solutions business functions.

In this role you'll:
- Contributes to the provision advisory services to Global Trade Solutions to support clear understanding of Regulatory compliance risk exposure with respect to clients, transactions, and products. Assist senior management decision making and meeting their strategic objectives
- Ensure all policies, procedures, principles, and dispensations, etc. are updated for changes in Regulation and impacts on business
- Resolve any/all identified issues promptly and escalates concerns to management as appropriate to ensure timely awareness of any material concerns
- Maintain an effective control framework and to ensure compliance with all relevant external laws & regulations, internal codes and policies and good market practices
- Strengthens knowledge of risk and compliance management by incorporating risk and compliance considerations in all activities undertaken to protect and enable the business' activities through a robust risk management understanding
- Maintain awareness of operational risk within assigned portfolio and minimise the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting

- Product and technical knowledge - broad knowledge of trade finance products such as letters of credit, guarantees, supply chain finance and open account solutions is preferable, and an awareness of digital platforms and automation trend in trade solutions
- Global economic impact - Interpreting global economic trends and understanding the impact that they have on the needs of our clients
