Job Description - Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Are you a Senior Manufacturing Engineer? Do you have experience working with Electro-Mechanical products? Do you enjoy driving improvement across manufacturing processes and mentoring engineers?
A company based in Woking is currently seeking a driven and experienced engineer to join their growing Operations team, helping to deliver cutting-edge technology across a range of industries. With a strong focus on transitioning innovative products from R&D to production, this role is a critical bridge between design and manufacturing.

Senior Manufacturing Engineer
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

Provide engineering support across all phases of the product lifecycle, from prototype to production.
Lead initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste and optimise cost-efficiency.
Collaborate with design teams to ensure manufacturability, appropriate supplier selection and material choices.
Design and specify manufacturing tools, fixtures, jigs and test systems.
Support production setup and troubleshoot issues across mechanical, electrical and software systems.
Take ownership of engineering change processes and documentation of procedures.
Act as a mentor and leader within the team, supporting junior engineers and deputising when needed.

Senior Manufacturing Engineer
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:

Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
Proven experience in a production/manufacturing engineering role, ideally with electro-mechanical products.
Proven experience taking products from concept through to manufacture (
