Senior NPI Engineer

Location: Sedgefield, England, United Kingdom

You’ll work at the interface between engineering and production, helping move new products from prototype through to stable, repeatable manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  Support NPI activities from prototype through to production

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and optimise manufacturing processes

  
  


• 
  

  Support DFM and DFA activities

  
  


• 
  

  Analyse RF test data to improve yield and process capability

  
  


• 
  

  Investigate manufacturing and RF performance issues

  
  


• 
  

  Support production ramp-up and continuous improvement

  
  


• 
  

  Design and implement tooling and fixtures

  
  


• 
  

  Produce manufacturing procedures and technical documentation

  
  

About You

• 
  

  HND, degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, RF, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field

  
  


• 
  

  Experience introducing RF or microwave products into manufacturing

  
  


• 
  

  Background in RF, microwave, electronics, aerospace, defence, semiconductor or other high-precision manufacturing

  
  


• 
  

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with manufacturing process development and continuous improvement

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of 8D, DMAIC or FMEA

  
  


• 
  

  SPC and process capability experience would be advantageous

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with VNA, spectrum analysers and signal generators would be beneficial
