Senior Marine Engineer

A leading international design, engineering, science, and risk management consultancy are seeking an experienced Senior Marine Engineer to join their dynamic team in this new permanent role based in Fareham which offers hybrid working.

As the Senior Marine Engineer you will get the opportunity to work within the Marine Engineering team to work on projects across the lifecycle of various vessels, focusing on specialised, lightweight, and high-speed vessels for UK and international customers. Responsibilities include:

• System design and equipment integration using 2D and 3D modelling
• Surveys and engineering investigations
• Project management
• Design of mechanical systems and arrangements
• Liaising with suppliers, partners, and clients

About You:

• HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
• Chartered Engineer or on the path to registration
• Design experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft programs
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Desirable Skills:

• Defence domain experience
• Ability to mentor less experienced staff
• Experience with PLM software or document management processes
